Program

A Mother’s Prayer Academy is an Early Learning daycare with a “Full Permit” to care for 12 children. However, I prefer to keep my ratio below 6 so that I am fully able to provide undivided one on one attention to each child in my care. Here at A Mother’s Prayer Academy, we promote free play, Leap Frog Curriculum, and a safe learning space that is open to care for children ages 6months-3 years old. I develop a strong bond with each one of the children in my care. A Mother's Prayer Academy is a safe and warm environment where your child can learn and grow. At our home daycare, we focus on teaching children social, emotional, and behavioral skills to ensure your child's development. We focus on a variety of developmental and Play-based activities to offer a diverse education which fosters a love of learning. We are pleased to offer full-time care and we can't wait to meet you! I am very passionate about the childcare industry and the disparities of quality childcare in the Southwest Fort Worth community. Therefore, our goal is to provide an age-appropriate curriculum full of activities that mentally and socially prepare your child to be more than ready to attend Pre-K or 1st Grade. To further my career, each year I am required to take 30 hours of continuing education courses pertaining to Early Childhood Education and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED. I have also recently earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential which is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education and is a key steppingstone on the path of career advancement in Early Childhood Education. This credential gives me the knowledge of how to help children move with success from one developmental stage to another.
A Mother’s Prayer Academy is also recognized as a Texas Rising Star daycare. Texas Rising Star is intended to measurably improve the quality of childcare and early learning programs and thereby enhance children's development and promote school readiness. This means your child will be attending a daycare that provides a “higher quality of care”. Again, your child will be mentally and socially prepared to attend PreK, or 1st Grade when they leave A.M.P.A.
