I spent my whole childhood babysitting for kids in the neighborhood. As an adult I’ve worked as an RBT tech. I’ve worked in clinics that specialize in teaching children under the spectrum.Mainly persons with Autism.
I’ve also been a care giver for adults. I was a full time caregiver for my 2 grandparents for 3 years. They moved in with my husband and I and I was fortunate enough to have been able to stay home and be their caregiver.
I love children, but have never been able to have any of my own. Babysitting gives me a chance to spend time with kids and fill a little void. Though it’s been a while since I have babysat regularly.
I have a niece who is now 14 so she is doing the babysitting now.
