Profile As a Child Development major at Southern University and A&M College, I strive for excellence when working with children. I began working with children at the age of 17, where I was a mentor at the Boys and Girls Club of America. I then began doing internships at Elementary schools and also volunteer hours in my community as well as the YMCA in Baton Rouge. I’ve also worked as a teacher’s assistant at a day care center in my hometown, working with children ranging from 2months to 7years of age. What I love most about working with kids is that I can watch them grow, while motivating them along the way. My energetic and positive personality would make a great asset to this position!
