Hi there! My name is Theresa and I have about 22 years experience working with children of all ages. I started out babysitting in my early teens and then furthered my career working in daycare. After a few years working in day care I then decided to move on in becoming a full time nanny. I love being a nanny!! I have worked for families with twins, even multiples, one child, two children etc...all ranging from new borns to age 4 and older... it always makes me sad when the children grow up and I'm not needed any more but I always keep in touch with the families! Whenever a family is no longer in need of a nanny I either go back to a day care or try to find another family to help and love as my own! Being a nanny is so much fun and gives more one on one time with your child(ren)!! I have a two year associate degree in early childhood education as well. I love to sing, dance, read, arts and crafts, teach, laugh, play and of course give lots of tender loving care! I also teach children the early signs of sign language, counting to 10 in English and in Spanish, letters, numbers, colors and shapes! On top of everything I do with the children I also do meal planning and preparation, education, reading development, potty training, transportation, LIGHT housekeeping, children s laundry, baths, dishes, love going on walks and taking the children to the library, park, mall, the zoo and assist in appointments as needed.
