I’ve never been a professional nanny/babysitter, I’ve watched my siblings for years while my mom was out working for us. I wouldn’t complain because I knew it was my responsibility and truthfully I enjoyed the time I had with my sisters without my mom hanging over us cause I could bust out the crafts, play some music and have a great time without having to worry about the mess right away. I would warm up the food my mom pre made for them or I’d put my mediocre cooking skills to the test and whip them up some dinner myself. Once bedtime started to approach, we’d all make sure everything is tidied up and get ready for bed or laid in bed till mom got home.
