My name is Sydney, I am a recent graduate who just came back from working as an Au Pair for a family in Italy. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music and I hope to continue a one or two-year gap year working with children before attending university for a master's in music engineering.
I have lots of previous work experience with kids. For starters, my mother runs a childcare facility where I had the opportunity to work with children from a young age and understand the tasks of caring for children. Additionally, I worked at a tutoring center for 2 years, where I helped children of all school ages with homework and school tasks. I mainly worked with younger children, about 3 to 8 years old, during this time when I could learn so much about interacting and communicating with younger ones. Currently, I work at my university's child care center for professors and faculty where I work with toddlers from ages 3-5. I help prepare snacks and meals, clean, play, run around, and read with the children. I really enjoy coming to work at the daycare after a long day of school and studying.
