Profile Having nieces and nephews, I have done everything from changing countless diapers, being spit-up on, staying up for hours with crying babies and toddlers, feeding, cooking and cleaning, and the list goes on. I also help them process emotions and have meaningful conversations with them to help them understand what they are feeling and why. I have helped with school work, picking them up in car seats, brushing their teeth, etc. I plan on starting school in the summer to become a child psychologist so I can give kids the opportunity to work through their emotions and recognize them, thus providing them with a handy toolkit to utilize. It is my belief that every kid deserves to be heard and to have their feelings validated. This creates trust that tells them that it's okay to not be okay and to ask for help. I feel like this important job can only help me gain experience when it comes to helping children. If you have any questions for me, please feel free to ask.
