Hi, my name is Olivia! I am from Chicago but am currently attending Augustana College to study Communication Sciences and Disorders.
My mom has been an in-home nanny for 11 years and so I am very accustomed to about 4 or 5 kiddos running around the house! Since I was about 9 I have helped her care for many children from infants up to the age of 5. As you can imagine, having a stream of children and their parents throughout the house growing up opened up many opportunities for babysitting jobs. So I have been babysitting for around 8 years. I have babysat for kids during all hours of the day and have also watched kids overnight as well. I also worked in the nursery at my church for 3 years and have worked with kids while helping out with Sunday school classes and vacation bible school.
I also live with and caretake for my 86 year old grandmother who suffers from dementia. So, things like giving medications or baths, making food, and occupational therapy are the norm for me and I am comfortable with senior care.
I was raised in a very pet-friendly home, and I currently have a cat and a dog.
