I taught all three of my children how to read, and they have a love of reading. All three have been excellent students- the oldest is now a teacher. I also stayed home with my kids for 19 years , working some on the side, but keeping them engaged over summers by going to special places, being outdoors, wading in creeks and going always to the Library to participate in programs they have and making crafts, cooking, and learning how to take care of end enjoy our pets.
