Hi! My name is Nina! I’m a CNA and current nursing student with a special love for working with babies and children. Through nursing school, I’ve completed both OB/mother-baby and pediatric nursing and have had hands-on clinical experience caring for newborns and infants on a postpartum/mother-baby unit, as well as children of different ages in both a pediatric unit and the PICU.
Outside of my clinical experience, I also have personal babysitting experience caring for a family friend’s child as a toddler and again as she’s gotten older. I’m comfortable with feeding, diaper changes, naps and bedtime routines, playtime, age-appropriate activities, and following the routines and preferences that parents already have in place.
My nursing education has also given me a strong understanding of child development, age-appropriate care, safety, and recognizing when something may be wrong. I’m BLS/CPR certified with training that includes both adult and pediatric resuscitation.
I’m very caring, patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy being around children—especially babies! I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your child, so I’m big on communication and following each family’s individual preferences and routines.
