I have always been helping out with kids growing up, and have kept that habit. Once I could enter the workforce at 14 I got a job as a summer counselor working with kids ages 5-12. I stayed with the organization for 4 years and learned a lot about what it means to be a leader for the kids I spend time with. I have always wanted to work with younger children, and my interest was affirmed after spending a month volunteering at a local daycare with the kids ages 2-4 years. I hope I can help build my professional experience with kids if granted the opportunity.
