The eldest child of two siblings and 12 cousins, I've been a caregiver for most of my life. From camp counselor, to regular nanny jobs, to once-in-a-while babysitting gigs so parents can have a date night, I've done it all. I've also had the immense privilege and pleasure of being a bonus mom for over 8 years. I actively parented my step-daughter since she was 18 months, and the knowledge and experience I gained through being her primary parent for over 7 years has been invaluable.

I believe in the importance of communicating with children in a way that encourages their autonomy and shows respect for their thoughts and ideas. Children have big feelings sometimes and I'm skilled in holding space and talking through them in a way that not only makes them feel seen and heard, but also safe to explore their feelings in healthy ways. I love teaching, getting creative, and encouraging imaginative play, and am always happy to get outside and see the world through a child's eyes.
