Hi! My name is Megan! I’m a freelance NYC based artist! I’ve been an artist since as young as a young child and it’s now my dream to paint murals around the country and possibly even the world! Through art I’ve been able to use that skill in childcare as I’ve been doing for several years. I use art to help children develop gross motor skills and induce creative thinking. Art has shown to be one of the most therapeutic forms of creativity and I’ll always use art as a way to connect and grow with the kids I work with. I have a long history of childcare experience in the classroom of NYC public UPK schools as well as working with children specifically on the spectrum. I have the skills of a patient leader and teacher and use patience to help me understand the needs of any individual child. I love to physically get active and engage with kids as we both need that creative movement. Overall, I love working with children and families and bringing art into their imaginations.
