I have always loved working with kiddos since I was a teen working for the YMCA as an after-school program aide. While I was working there I would assist in select programs, help out with homework, and facilitate outdoor activities to help get out any extra energy before they returned home for the evening. I have a fun-loving, youthful presence that kids have always gravitated toward and I love seeing how they view the world and sharing knowledge with them about science! While my degree is science-based, I do plan on going back to school to get my master's in education and eventually start an after-school sustainability program for kids.
