Hi I'm Marissa, I have been taking care of children for about 9 years now. For a couple of those years I was working for a government program for single working mothers, during that time I was trained in CPR and First Aid training. I have worked with children ages 6 months to 12 years old, I have always found that patience is the key with all age ranges. A bit about myself, I have a couple pets, who are very fun and friendly, I love video games, I've played Minecraft and Fortnite a lot. My favorite activities include pottery, painting, reading and spending time with my pets. I have always have a calm demeanor which has made it easy for me to care for children, even when they act a little difficult, remaining calm and talking to them in a soft tone to find out what's bothering them is a great way to calm them down. It's worked for me. :)
