Children love working with me. They look forward to our lessons as they improve skills, confidence and reach goals. My approach is positive, individualized, goal oriented, and multimodal. I have 1 year of experience tutoring and 5 years experience as a teacher's assistant.
I teach art to k5-5 with the North Charleston Cultural Arts Dept and provide event childcare for several organizations.
I'm a mother of 3 grown children with a degree in science and technology. I'm a local exhibiting artists. My STEAM specialties include: Art, Science, Reading and Writing. Math tutoring is available for k4-5. Many of my students need remedial work, study skills, and learn with ADHD. My homeschooled students use different curriculum. Academic coaching experience includes gifted programs, charter and private school admissions, as well as college and scholarships applications.
