Hi my name is Kourtney im 18 years old and I've been a child care taker for the pas two years. I've had the privilege to work with two different families over that time. The first family I looked after I cared for their 3 year old daughter and kept house. My day started at 9am with getting her up and dressed for the day. I'd make her breakfast, do interactive activities with her and then put her down for a nap. While she slept I'd clean, do laundry and occasionally pick up a few groceries. when she woke I'd walk her down to the park and we'd play then her mom would arrive back home by 3pm .We sadly parted ways when it was time for her to start pre-k the following year. The second family that I looked after had 3 boys (2 elementary age and 1 middle school age). My day started at 6:00am and I'd start by waking the boys up, getting them dressed and walking them to the bus stop. I'd stay there while they were gone and clean the house and do laundry and then I'd meet them at the bus stop. Once they all were home we'd have lunch and do homework. Towards the end of the night I'd make dinner put them to bed and wait for one of their parents to arrive back home by 9:45pm. We sadly parted ways once all the boys became middle school aged this past semester.
