I grew up having a niece and nephew as I was young myself, I would babysit for my sister this included the expected feeding, changing diapers, bathing and general care of 2 babies. Outside of babysitting for my family, I started working with children when I was 16. I volunteered at my local community centers as a teachers aid for kids with special needs, ages from 1year up to 21 years old as the program worked with individuals on both the low functioning and high functioning ends of the spectrum. As time went on I expanded outside of the school setting and started working as a swim instructor, camp counselor, babysitter and a family assistant. I have experience with all ages. Between taking care of the kids at home I also aided in cleaning and cooking while the parents had work ensuring that after a long day they would come home to a clean house, cooked meals and happy kiddos. Parents often found comfort in the fact that I worked as a certified EMT and have first aid/cpr training so incase of an emergency the kids were in good hands. I also house/pet sit and am more than willing to assist the families however I can from homework help/tutoring , house chores, rides to and from school/play dates ect. I’m very punctual and willing to adjust my availability to best suit the families needs.
