I used to work at an after school center for kids in ages 6-14 approximately helping them with homework, activities and we taught music lessons however I wasn't a musician I was a tutor we also did group activities like singing and dancing and learning things like countries through song. I used to watch my younger sister and with the after school program I feel that I have learned a lot about working with kids and I love to make that special connection with them. I am young however sometimes I've noticed it helps to have a younger person take care of kids because they seem to relate a little more and listen a little better!
