I've been babysitting, nannying, and a mommy helper for 10 years now. I am very experienced with young children, ie 0 months to 8 years old. I am very good at helping with homework, and finding ways to help children learn better. I kept high standards for myself, which is why parents repeatedly continued coming to me for my services. Even if it wasn't required, I went out of my way to clean and keep toys tidy.

I'm very passionate about kids, and always have been. I grew up as a missionary, so I traveled all over and spoke bits and pieces of several languages, but am most confident with Spanish. I love the energy kids have, they bring such joy and life into one's life even when it's not always fun or clean. I am very into arts and crafts, and always try to have at least one activity planned to make things fun. I believe in building relationships more than just working for the money. To me, nannying or babysitting shouldn't be about what you earn at the end of the night/week, it should be about encouraging and inspiring growth and building friendships. There's been several times where children are on the fence with me, it's not easy hanging out with a stranger when the parents leave, so I try many ways to make everyone involved comfortable with me.
