I have been working full time at Bethany Children's Home for 3 years now. I work with around 7-10 youth everyday day ranging in ages from 10-18 years old. I also work part-time as a babysitter for a 3 year old 3 days a week.
My time at Bethany Children's Home has shaped me into an understanding, patient and confident child care worker.
We are trained in CPR. We apply first aid to our youth when necessary as well as emotional first aid.
I am trained to deal with youth who need consistency and routine in their everyday life as well as helping them aquire healthy coping skills to help them cope through hardships.
I am looking to work 1 job in the field that I love while I go back to school.
