Profile I first started working with children my senior year of high school in 2016 as a Teen Mentor/After School Counselor for my church after school program. It brought me great joy, and though I knew I loved children, I learned I also really enjoy working with them as well. After I have held positions throughout the following years working with children in roles such as a Literacy tutor, Summer camp teacher, YMCA After School Teacher, and a family babysitter. My philosophy is that children are the future and should be treated as such. We have to be initial, with kids because they are so easily molded. Also children are not "bad", they are just misunderstood and need someone to take time with them.
