I worked as a floating teacher at a bilingual nursery school in Boston for six months and absolutely adored the students. As a floating teacher, I cared for students 6 months to 6 years old, and got to see each student develop and learn at their own pace. I learned the basics of childcare, and the importance of redirection when difficult behaviors arose. My favorite part of working with the students was seeing their smiles. I always did my best to foster a nurturing, creative, and open environment. I have experience bottle feeding, changing diapers, dancing to baby shark, drawing with preschoolers, and working with parents as needed.
