Hello! I have been a nanny for over 9 years now. I am currently working in NJ but moving to Charleston 3/29. I love love love caring for children. I truly love all of the children I care for. I think communication is the best way for us to all be on the same page! I also think that gentle parenting is the most effective approach as a babysitter/nanny! I have implemented it for years and it has helped me the most and helps the children as well! I have witnessed and experienced the gentle parenting approach to significantly decrease tantrum time, help them feel safe, help them learn about their emotions and how to manage safely and also their impact on the world around them! I have so much fun and do not see it as a job. I am very fun, energetic and playful so I have never had an issue connecting with children. I am also extremely cautious with baby/toddler safety (without scaring them) and make sure we have clear, safe boundaries that me and both child agree on together. I originally started out as an on call nanny for over 30 families to support myself through college. I have been working FT nannying in extremely private homes. I work well and get along well with parents and staff! Communication is key!
