My name is Carisma Gass, and I was born and raised in the vibrant community of Lamar, Colorado. Throughout my life, I have been deeply engaged with my community, particularly through my local church, where I take on a variety of volunteer roles. I take pride in organizing community events, leading youth groups that foster guidance and friendship among young members, and actively participating in outreach programs that aim to support those in need. My love for music finds a home in our church choir, where I enjoy sharing my passion for singing while also dedicating time to care for the church nursery, nurturing the youngest among us. Beyond my academic pursuits, I am committed to giving back through my involvement in extracurricular activities. I regularly volunteer at a food bank, where I help distribute meals to families in our community, and I coordinate a monthly clothing drive to ensure that those in need have access to essential items. My past experience as a cheer captain has taught me invaluable teamwork skills, discipline, and determination. Additionally, I have had the rewarding opportunity to serve as an elementary gymnastics coach, where I guide young athletes not only in technical skills but also in building their self-confidence, instilling a sense of accomplishment and resilience in each champion I help nurture.
