Hi all! Here's some background to help you feel a little more comfortable in choosing me to care for your little one(s)! My name is Brooklyn, and I am one of SEVEN siblings so I was lucky enough to have grown very strong in caring for and guiding children in the right way even before entering the workforce! I spent most of my early years at work volunteering at summer camps in which I learned through personal experiences with each kid, how to teach them while also keeping in mind the importance of a growing imagination in adolescence. I later went on to work at a preschool as a teacher's assistant which I loved! As any job would, there were some challenges but I feel no hesitation in finding impactful solutions and asking parents what helps in their home life to give the child something familiar to look forward to. I have a strong balance in studied knowledge and personal teachings which I know to be very important in communicating with your little one, making your child's needs and thoughts feel heard and understood, and overall making sure they are safe in exploring the world around them while still having the chance to be a kid. I will always take the time to learn each child personally so I can better assist them in meeting a new person, and to help give you, the parents a well-deserved break!
