Hello! My name is Bree and I absolutely love my job teaching dance and gymnastics to children! Since 2018 I have worked with the JCC in New York and Los Angeles creating and implementing youth programming, helping with summer camps and after school programs, and of course teaching and coaching children from ages 6 months- 16 years old, including my amazing special needs classes. When I'm not working at the J, I am often babysitting (and occasionally nannying) for the families of my students and also our staff! Babysitting was the first job I ever had at the tender age of 13, and since then I have been a camp counselor, tap and ballet teacher, a children's English teacher in Japan and France, and an au pair for a semester in London. Above all else, I continue to return to childcare roles because of a genuine connection and love I have for kids! I love creating arts and crafts projects, building forts and playing pretend, cooking together (my father was a well respected chef and I definitely get my skills from him!), and doing lots of crazy voices together during story time.
