I have worked with children and gotten along with them since I was one myself. I studied the behaviors and analyzed any issues that may have been coming up into their awareness. (i.e: jealousy, comparison, autism, schizophrenic symptoms, psychosis, depression, anxiety, secrets, narcissism, selfishness, worry, doubt, fear, intense anger issues, underlying stress, ptsd, or sexual trauma). I am also equipped consciously to work through any issues with your child, if they are open to discussing anything that is bothering them. I take a very light hearted and loving approach, I don't pry unless the child wants to discuss the matter and I know how to play make-believe, act as a pirate or fairy, I can prep meals or make any food that your child desires, I can teach them how to paint, draw, create & design, as long as the materials are present. I sing, I dance; so if your child loves those things, we can play disney movies and sing along to them. I play video games, so I can keep your child entertained while still maintaining an active conversation and role in their lives while they do their normal activities. I can help with homework to my best ability and get as much done as desired or necessary. I have complete trust in my own abilities to be present and active in case of any emergency. I know to dial 911 in the case of an emergency: and -then- the parents number. I am trained in CPR, and I have learned healthy and appropriate restraints incase of a psychotic episode or mental breakdown. I am careful in my approach when I first get to know the child(ren), and I observe their behavior then act accordingly. Some kids take some time to open up but once I find their niche, I use that to get to know them better and I tell them about myself and my little sister: to resonate.

1 of those 3 were in human sexuality, meaning that I learned the early development of sexual arousal and how to deal with explaining that to children if a question comes up that is inappropriate or of sexual nature.

Keeping strong boundaries and no talk of such things while I am babysitting. I grew up watching pornographic material at a young age and I can tell the steps that a child goes through within their own consciousness regarding their body parts and others as well. Part of my job is to analyze behavior and report back to the parent/guardian on if there are any discrepancies in the growth of a child's consciousness.

I was a counselor for 3 years, for special needs clients. Aged 18-76. This can also pertain to children, as I worked with mild to severe cases and disorders.
