I have worked in the educational field for about 8 years now, I am the site coordinator for the after school programs in Fresno, CA i have also worked as a tutor for about 5 years from ages tk - 8th grade. Have worked in a special ed class(7th and 8th grade) have also worked one on one with students in the functional skills class. Helped out with changing diapers, lifting and helping students in wheelchairs whether that be in the restroom or helping student in the classroom walk in their walker to help practice with mobility, helping students change for their PE class, and also help students eat/ cut up food during breakfast/lunch. I have also worked as a behavioral therapist with children with Autism from the ages of 2-12.
Growing up I helped my sister raise her son who also had autism and I would always help with homework or any activities that would help with his color matching, reading, writing etc.. I also have experience with babysitting children ages 3-13, helped with cooking and house chores.
