Been a caregiver since 2014, worked with special needs children and adults from ages 3 to 22.
Having a brother with autism has taught me how to have patience and love towards others.
Most parents, leaving their babies behind could be very difficult. I understand that not many parents trust but with my one year experience has taught me how to communicate with parents more effectively and build a bond not just with the child but also with parents.
I could say that I am proud of being able to teach my patients/ clients, new goals and achievements such as bathing, potty training, but most importantly helping them be more independent.
