I have been working with children for over 6 years! I started babysitting in my neighborhood and quickly expanded my clientele to encompass a greater area with greater age diversity! Once I started driving I began working as a camp counselor where I oversaw 50 + kids and ensured they felt safe and comfortable away from home. I was in charge of camp crafts, meals, transported kids on field trips, and supervised overnight stays. I also have extensive experience working as a Direct Support Professional and Personal Care Assistant. I am more than confident working with children from different backgrounds and children with different abilities. I also took a semester worth of education courses given for the longest time I wanted to be a teacher. This said I have such a big passion for implementing fun learning experiences into play.
