Hi everyone, My name is Alicia and I am 29 years old. I am offering child care, tutoring and pet care.

I have been working with Elementary school age students for the past 8 years. I worked for an outside school district as a Bilingual Para Educator both general and special education with age groups from 3 to 15 year olds. My responsibilities included classroom management, guided reading, small intervention groups, language and reading assessments, interpretation, recess supervision and overall school support. I also worked at a High School as a Bilingual Para Educator for the After School Program. I participated as student supervision, leadership member, activity coordinator, tutor and helped with the student's attendance. I recently let go of my Para Educator positions because I relocated to Bakersfield.

I am a dedicated educator and believe in challenging students academically, witnessing them learn is the greatest reward! I am passionate to work with children of all age groups. I love story reading, tutoring and projects such as arts and crafts. I enjoy outdoor play and watching kids be kids!

I have a large dog of my own and consider myself an advocate for all dog breeds, specially mine. I enjoy taking my dog on walks and to the dog park. I do not have any experience with cats but I'll accept the challenge and will be happy to work with families with pets.
