Hello! My name is Alexa. I am currently a dance and theater teachers to kids aged 2-5 years old at 4 schools under Building Kidz. I love the work that I do because I can touch the minds and hearts of these kids through music and other fun activities. During one of my internships, I was a teacher’s assistant for an online theater workshop which involved kids aged 4-13. Also, I have worked alongside kids to teens for theater productions and workshops. And lastly, I made online art and crafts activities during the lockdown for my internship with Make Believe Productions, a story-telling and theater company built for kids. I also had first hand experience of taking care of a baby when she was 1 and again when she became 2 years old. In short, I love surrounding myself with children. I have the best time whenever I am around kids and I wish to do my best to help them grow and enjoy their childhood.
