Hello!
I’m Alexa and I’m excited to introduce myself to you! I have extensively babysat for neighbors, family friends, and by word of mouth for over 4 years. I also had the privilege of regularly caring for two young neighbors from the time they were around 1 and 3 years old up until they were about 6 and 8 years old. Through this I have gained valuable experience working with children of many ages including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children (3 months - 10 yo).
My responsibilities have included:
- feeding (bottles, solid foods, snacks, meals)
- changing diapers (safely and gently changing when needed)
- meal preparation (preparing food and meals as family requests)
- bathing (bath time, cleaning, water safety, play, drying off, changing clothes)
- bedtime (brushing teeth, putting on pajamas, reading, tv time - within parents parameters, tucking in, ensuring safety and comfort, forming a routine)
- day and night routines (adhering to parents guidelines and creating a healthy and positive environment for children to succeed in their daily routines)
- helping with potty training (learning to use the toilet or a small potty for children, removing the proper garments, wiping, washing hands)
- outdoor activities and play (going to parks, bike riding and/or scootering - if comfortable with child and parent, walking around the neighborhood - if safe, playing games, and going on parent approved outings such as swimming, going to parks, or other fun places)
- help with schoolwork (I can help with basic homework struggles and keeping on track)
- creating a safe, fun, healthy, happy environment for children to engage, grow, and thrive (I love being able to be a part of providing a supportive, happy, productive space for children to grow and be themselves)
I am creative, intuitive, warmhearted, responsible, and passionate about children’s health, learning and well being. I have good experience caring for animals and household items as well. I have looked after cats, dogs, birds, and rabbits for others on several occasions. I grew up with cats and rabbits and currently have my own cat and dog so have very good knowledge in pet care. I can also help with housekeeping and chores such as tidying, reorganizing, doing laundry, cleaning, cleanup after meals, washing dishes and other household tasks. I hope to help as much as possible!
I look forward to getting to know your family and providing the best care I can. I am currently working on my First Aid Recertification completing by Aug. 2025. I have a valid license with zero infractions. While I do not own my own car at the moment, I have reliable access to transportation and a shared car I may use for daily commutes. I am also happy to provide references upon request.

I have a valid drivers license with zero infractions. I am First Aid/CPR certified and I have worked as a babysitter for over 4 years and gained experience with children from the age of 3months up to 8 years old.
