For thirty-three years, I have served children/families in a variety of settings and capacities- i.e. Special Education in Public Schools; Title I Programs; Adult Foster Care (AFC) Homes; Adult Day Programs; Summer Enrichment Programs; Extended School Year Programs; Special Olympics; Adapted Sports; and led Reader's Theaters for a variety of readabilities. I utilize a Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS) and facilitate Total Communication via Multi-Modality Communication Systems, including English, Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL), and Speech Generated Devices (SGD's). I am well versed in providing cares and programming for individuals with Developmental Cognitive Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Traumatic Brain Disorders, Emotional-Behavioral Disorders, as well as Other Health Impairments.
