In high school (graduated in 2015) I took after school babysitting training classes. I practiced and became CPR certified, and learned a handful of techniques for handling emergency and general child care situations. I'm an uncle now, and watch/engage with the children of my family gatherings. I'm active, lithe, and fairly consistently nerdy so I can help out with schoolwork where applicable or otherwise just keep everything confined to a safe environment and offer advice/play where applicable. I have yet to actually be a babysitter/nanny mind you, so some patience or understanding will go appreciated, as I adjust to the work/lifestyle.
