I’ve been babysitting for 5 years now. I worked at a daycare for a year. All the kids I babysit still absolutely adore me and always want me to come over. One of my older kids text me every day and her mom does to tell me how much of an impact i’ve done for her. I always put the child first. I will always make time to talk with the child if something is bugging them and they need to talk it out. I will always be an extra shoulder for them to cry on. I treat kids like they are family because I know sometimes it’s not easy being a kid.
