Diana C.
I'm a mother of 4 adult children who are all on their journeys. Three of them have graduated from college and one is a freshman in college. I'm sharing this with you because clearly, I stress education. I have my M.Ed in Elementary Education and have taught preschool and elementary school.
For the past year, I've been a part-time nanny for a 2-year-old, but now the mom is going back to work full time and I can only work as a nanny part-time. This little girl has benefitted from my teaching background, through play. I am continuously teaching her letter and picture recognition while teaching her additional concepts, such as shapes and colors. I have also taught her a lot of words and as a result, she has a vast vocabulary at such a young age.
I will miss this little girl whom I've grown to love. I have been loving, nurturing, playful and fun since the start. Of course, safety is first and foremost on my mind, and as a mother, anticipating possible safety issues is second nature to me.
I am seeking a job as a part-time nanny and would also be interested in using my teaching background as a tutor.
M.Ed from grades K-5
