I have babysat and worked in childcare for 10+ years now. I first began babysitting when I was 11 years old and started with watching siblings and younger family members. I began babysitting for other families as I got older and worked at a daycare for 2 years before moving. At the daycare I worked with the ages of newborn to 9 years old. I aided with homework, taught classes, helped build lesson plans, etc. I have house sat previously and I am willing to clean/do chores. While in high school and middle school, I volunteered at a local vacation bible school. While volunteering there, I was a "tribe leader" for four years in a row. I looked after a group of kids, guiding them through crafts and bible activities. I love kids and find it important to create a good bond with the child, encourage growth and confidence, foster creativity, and so much more! Outside of childcare, I have experience with children in other jobs as well. I worked at a gymnastics facility for a few years where I taught classes to children ages 2 to 14!
