Tatyana R.
As someone who loves and cares for children, I am thrilled to be applying for this nannying position. Working as a nanny for the past three years consecutively and babysitting many years before that, I understand both the responsibility and privilege it is to interact with kids. I strongly believe that the past seven years of babysitting and three rounds of CPR/AED/First Aid certification makes me a great candidate for this position. Additionally, I love pool time, so I also received a certification as a lifeguard.
Previously, I heavily nannied for three families with children between 2 and 13 years of age. Seeing the kids on a daily basis allowed me to adjust my skill set to the individual kids, building the most efficient and supportive environment I can for not only the kids but also the families. In the years of nannying for different families, I have received nothing but positive feedback.
Furthermore, this past summer I was a camp counselor for my school, Georgia Tech. I watched a minimum of five children at a time and a max of 45. Interacting with children collectively instead of individually developed skills that nannying did not provide. I have saved children during pool time, reported injuries, and gained a diverse collection of games to pull from when things slow down! Interacting with children in a large group has made me more attentive to subtle indicators that kids may use when they are flustered or uncomfortable.
Working with children comes with its challenges but never fails to bring laughter and joy into my life. I am excited for this job opportunity, and I feel I am an excellent candidate for this nannying position!
Thank you for taking the time to review my application.
