I have been working in Education since 2011. At that time I was an intern with the public schools in my hometown. I have worked as an English teacher for most of the time. Recently I worked with Baylake Academy as a Lead Teacher and fell in love with Early Childhood Education. I adore this stage of life and I'm fully capable of providing care while keeping kids engaged and away from electronics. I'm also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified and I've completed training on how to assist kids on the autism spectrum. This past school year I was a Special Education Early Childhood paraprofessional with Chesapeake Public Schools.
I also love emotional inteligence and I'm frequently reading and trying to learn more of addressing issues and helping tiny humans on their journey of growing emotionally healthy! I'm all for accountability, and open and honest communication and would rather discuss gray areas than ignore them.
I enjoy crafting, cooking, reading, singing, dancing, going for walks, photographing, and lesson planning!
