My love for working with children began when I was very young. I would set up a “school” in our basement during the summer break and have several neighbor kids attending my “class” every day!
During my teenage years I volunteered after school hours at a daycare and spent many weekends babysitting for families throughout my community.
After college I pursued a career and enjoyed many years working as a professional. But, a part of me always wished I had chosen a career working with children.
My husband and I have been married for 23 years and are raising two wonderful children of our own. Our boys are by far my greatest achievement in life! Our oldest son is currently a freshman in college and our youngest son is in 7th grade.
Now that my boys are a little older and I have achieved my professional goals, I am thankful to be in a place where I can devote time to supporting another family.
