Hi my name is jami and I am 24 years old. I am a very outgoing, fun, energetic, loyal, and independent person. I really do love working with kids, as it it so rewarding to me.
I started off working at a daycare when I was 16. From there and until now I have worked at a couple daycare centers and schools. I have lots of experiences with all ages from infant too school agers. I used to volunteer at an elementary school and worked with kindergartners to teach them how to read and would also go on many field trips and engage in many different learning activities with them. When I was in high school, I was very athletic and played many sports, so I would coach volleyball camp to younger kids ranging from elementary to middle schooler. I used to work in the infant room for many years as well, taking care of babies ranging from zero-14 months old. I also recently used to coach little kids gymnastics, coaching from ages 1-6 and working at the boys and girls club after school program with school aged kids. I have lots of experience babysitting/private nannying as well, for families I have met in my work space. I also used to participate in mentoring kids where I would have a “little” and I was the “big” and each week I would simply just hang out with the child/take them somewhere to do something fun and engaging.
