I'm not a traditionally trained nanny. With 5 younger siblings, I started out caring for children young. I was a constant volunteer in child ministries growing up, and worked with most age groups by the time I was in highschool. I have been a nanny for a house of 5 special needs children, ages 1-12. I have worked with children in several other ways including long hours of volunteer work at a foster care facility, a sensory gym for primarily autistic or special needs children, and I'm actively an assistant camp director.
With several hours of office work behind me, I can safely say that I am 100% committed to the running around with children and furthering their development. I'm a firm believer in getting children out into the world around them and giving them every new experience possible. I'm extremely flexible and don't mind adapting to hours, different homes, or the work that comes along with clean up. I'm a fast learner and an ambitious go getter at heart.
I believe in play with a purpose and an always learning mind set to further encourage growth in any child I come into contact with, while hopefully learning new ways to better work with them, myself.
