Hello, my name is Demitri, I am pursuing a degree in psychology. Currently, I work as a direct support professional helping children with autism have a smoother time interacting in different situations. Part of the routine is guiding them in daily living activities such as laundry and kitchen safety, so meal prep and laundry are no biggie! I have a background in teaching for a non-profit using social-emotional learning. Working with kids from k-6th grade has built a lot of patience and understanding. In my time as a teacher, I consistently lesson-planned and worked with children of diverse backgrounds, bridging the gap between school and home life. I am an uncle and have cared for all of my nieces and nephews, ages 1, 3, 6, 12, and 15 so I am ready for all the challenges your child has to offer! I am looking forward to working with you!
