Hello! My name is Caitlin! Thank you for considering me to care for your children. I have had lots of different kinds of experience working with children. Growing up, my mom was the director of a daycare. I would always want to help out with the younger kids. Although I wasn't allowed to do much, I was able to help the teachers and play with the children and learn that I enjoyed being around children, even as a child myself. When I was 17, I worked through the City of Albuquerque as a recreational teacher where I got to work with kids aged 6-12 in an after school program. Every day after I was done with school, I would go to work. With the kids, I would do fun activities, serve snack, tell jokes, play games, color, and monitor the children for their safety and wellbeing. Eventually I had to leave that job because I was moving schools. At 22, I began to work for KinderCare as a teacher, where I eventually moved up to a lead teacher. I put together a lesson plan every day, mostly curriculum based. We did plenty of fun activities that were both curriculum and not curriculum. I played games with the kids, colored, talked, and even helped many children going through difficult experiences. I loved the kids, and they loved me. I also got CPR and First Aid training while working there. I've also worked with many ages, changed plenty of diapers, but I prefer working with older kids. I really love working with kids and watching them grow and learn.
