I grew up with two younger siblings and hard-working parents, so I was the sitter 80% of the time once I was 14 years old. I had to make our food and put my foot down when I needed to avoid conflict. When my little sister was a baby, I had to constantly help my mom with the bottle of putting her to sleep. As I got older, I began babysitting my baby cousins on the weekends as well. I have not worked in an actual daycare, however, I have been taking care of children for 6+ years now. And I always get picked first for babysitting because of how much the kids like me.
I am currently a sophomore at UIUC and Parkland majoring in molecular and cellular biology.
