At Sherline Family Daycare, we provide warm, dependable care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a home-based setting. Our developmental play-based program gives children daily opportunities to learn through age-appropriate play, discovery, reading, and creative activities while building skills at their own pace. We provide meals and support potty training as children are ready. Families can choose full-time, part-time, single-day, or drop-in care, with hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. We offer flexible tuition options and accept government subsidies. Our goal is to create a compassionate environment where children feel comfortable, engaged, and supported as they reach important developmental milestones.
We bring more than 12 years of childcare experience to our work with children and families. Our background includes a bachelor’s degree, early childhood education, First Aid and CPR training, certified nursing assistant training, and registered nursing credentials. These experiences help us provide thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care and respond attentively to each child’s needs. We plan activities that encourage curiosity, learning, and growing independence while offering children reassurance and encouragement throughout the day. English is spoken in our program. Families can expect a caring, knowledgeable team focused on creating a positive foundation for children as they learn, play, and build confidence.
Sherline Family Daycare is located in a single-family home in San Diego, between I-5 and 805. Our setting includes a gated entrance, backyard, dedicated nap room, and reading area, giving children spaces to rest, play, and explore throughout the day. The home is in a family-oriented neighborhood near a park, elementary school, and middle school. With a comfortable home environment and clearly defined areas for different parts of the day, children can enjoy a familiar rhythm of active play, quiet reading, meals, and naps. Our program is designed to offer families a welcoming setting where children can learn and feel secure in San Diego.
