At Love’s Purpose Childcare, we want every child to "Be Loved. Be Yourself." We create a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe being who they are while developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Our approach is centered around "Growing Through Play." We believe play is learning, and children learn best when they are able to explore, ask questions, make choices, try new things, and follow their natural curiosity. Our child-led curriculum uses children’s interests to guide hands-on investigations and learning experiences. Teachers support and extend learning rather than directing every experience.
We focus on the whole child, including social-emotional development, communication, creativity, problem-solving, independence, and Kindergarten readiness. Children have opportunities to learn through art, books, dramatic play, sensory experiences, building, loose parts, nature, and plenty of outdoor exploration.
What makes Love’s Purpose special is our small, home-like environment and individualized approach. We understand that learning and participation can look different for every child. Strong relationships with children and families are at the center of our program, and we want children to leave us feeling confident, curious, capable, and knowing they are loved exactly as they are.
Our teaching team consists of three staff members, including one full-time assistant and two assistants who rotate schedules. I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a background in social work and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. One of our assistants brings over 20 years of experience working with children.
Our approach is child-led, relationship-based, and focused on the whole child. Teachers observe children’s interests and development and use those observations to provide learning experiences that encourage curiosity, communication, problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Our small-group environment also allows us to get to know each child individually and support their unique strengths, needs, and interests.

Love’s Purpose Childcare is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Vallejo, conveniently located near Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center and Sutter Solano Medical Center. Our location also provides easy access to nearby schools, parks, shopping, and major roadways. Our family childcare home provides a comfortable, home-like setting where children can learn, play, and build relationships in a small-group environment. Children have access to both indoor and outdoor learning spaces, including a backyard where they can explore nature, engage in hands-on learning, and enjoy plenty of outdoor play. Our location is also convenient for families who live or work in Vallejo, as well as those commuting throughout the Bay Area.
