I hold an experienced license in Arvada. I provide care for teacher's children so I am closed on all days that teachers are off, except that I am open one day per week over the summer. Teachers only pay for days that I am open ( I do get paid for 2 holidays per year and I am paid for snow days). My child care space in my loving home is large and my back yard is fun. We spend a minimum of 1 hour outside, usually 2 1/2 hours each day. I belong to Kids' Nutrition food program and serve a healthy breakfast at 8:30, lunch, and an afternoon snack. I do not do any transportation in my vehicle. We have 1/2 hour of "school" time each day, a weekly craft activity, monthly fire drills, pajama days, and color days.
